May 3, 2008. Rice's Hotel - Hughlett's Tavern, Heathsville, 3-7 pm. Sip Mint Juleps and wager on the Kentucky Derby. Watch it on the big TV and enjoy live and silent auctions. May 31, 2008. The festival features over 100 high-quality arts and crafts exhibits, a giant bake sale, food concessions, music, fresh strawberries and their phenomenally popular strawberry shortcake. The festival is a major event for the entire community, and draws thousands of people from a radius of some 200 miles. St. Stephen's Anglican Church, Heathsville. 580-4555.
Saturday, July 5, 2008. Afternoon parade, evening fireworks. Craft fairs, barbershop quartets and a 5K run/walk, all centered on Reedville's Main Street, decked out for the occasion.

December 12-13, 2008. House tour, sponsored by the Reedville Fishermen's Museum. House tour, fun to make by available water taxies, Saturday 10-5pm, Sunday noon-5pm. For children, the Reedville Santa arrives in Reedville Historic District aboard the Elva C. Breakfast with Santa is at 9am. Sometime during the house tour stop to see the Designer Tablescapes Exhibition. Gentlemen and ladies alike, don't miss an amazing show, where you will see dining set from French kitchens to an old pier, gardens to Victorian parlors. Refreshments are also served.
